How to price used PC parts without guessing

A practical method to price used GPUs, CPUs, RAM and motherboards using current market evidence instead of original retail price.

Original purchase price is a poor guide to today's resale value. Start from current comparable used listings and newer alternatives available at similar prices.

Use a range

A realistic range is more useful than fake precision. Keep a lower number for a quick sale, a fair midpoint, and a slightly higher listing price that leaves room for negotiation.

Remove bad comparisons

Wrong variants, bundles, complete PCs, faulty parts and accessories should never be included in the same price pool as a working standalone component.

Check your own hardware

RigValue can estimate a full gaming PC or individual CPU/GPU values from strict second-hand market matches when enough data is available.
